In the last ten days and nights of Ramadan 2014, some brothers and sisters including children did the Itikaf in As-Salam masjid following the sunah of the prophet (peace be upon him);

A'ishah radhiallahu 'anha said: “The Prophet [pbuh] would exert himself in worship during the last ten nights more than at any other time of the year.”[Muslim]

During the Itikaf, the Tahajjud prayer was performed in congregation. The Muslims, performing the Itikaf, had their Suhoor at the Islamic center’s dining hall.

It was a great feeling to live the spirits of Ramadan with other Muslims from different countries, seeing the children at the mid of night praying, and having Suhoor together.
