The 2nd session of HICC TALKs was held on 15th March 2015 presenting new two talks with the following titles:
1- Islamic Organizations in Japan, Exchange of Resources, Information and experiences -
Dr. Basem Abdullah
The talk is to focus on the classification of the Muslims in Japan, and to give an introduction for the most common structure of Muslim Organizations in non-Muslim countries. An example of Japanese mother Islamic origination is to be introduced.
2- A Study of Moral Aspects in English Language Teaching in Japan -
Many problems occur rooted from lack of education or moral. Today, education has been secularized from moral so separately that teachers feel the urge of re-integrating them. However, Japan education is to some extent perfectly secularized and successful. This presentation tries to understand this situation. I did a very simple research on English textbooks used in Japanese school and found some interesting facts. I want this findings to be adapted for other subjects and invite as many parties as possible to help teachers at schools to develop integration from multi-discipline major with Islam or islamization of knowledge.
We thank both the brothers for sacrificing efforts and time to share this knowledge with us.
May this was beneficial for all of you (attendees).
May Allah increase the knowledge of all of us.
