The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said "When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and righteous offspring who will pray for him." (Muslim). Here, beneficial knowledge means knowledge which he/she learned and then spread. Accordingly, to open the chance for all individuals to share their knowledge and experience, Hiroshima Islamic Cultural Center is pleased to announce the new program ‘HICC Talks’
HICC TALKS.. Learn + Share = Rewards.
HICC TALKs is welcoming all brothers and sisters to share their valuable knowledge, novel experience and ideas in an attractive talk. The goal is to level up our knowledge and collaboration to change our community for the better.
HICC TALKs solicits attractive talks on all branches of knowledge. Talks should convey interesting information and motivate others to look for the rest of the story. The topics could be, but not limited to,
- Islamic: (Quran, Sunnah, Dawa'h, Muslim History, ..).
- Sciences: Interesting facts from your feild.
- Cultural: Special ideas, customs or social behavior from your country.
- Innovation: Ideas to change our community for the better.
- Skill development: To get better at things.
The event will be held once per month for one hour long (usually between Maghrib and Isha prayers) starting from January 2015. Depends on the number of applicants, it could be held twice a month. Each talk should be at most 30 mins. long.
