Grabbing the opportunity to strengthen our relationship with the Japanese community, Hiroshima Islamic Cultural Center joined the "Amazing World Culture Festival." organized by Hiroshima International Plaza (HIP) through the Arabic calligraphy corner.

The main contents were introducing and practicing the Arabic calligraphy, and, at the same time, introducing the Islamic cultural center and its activities. The team was formed up of 7 persons; the calligrapher and other 6 assistants.

Almost 80 attendees of the festival visited our corner including adults and kids. The assistants introduced the Arabic alphabet to the visitors and taught them how to write their names in Arabic. Moreover, the visitors have their names written by the calligrapher onto cards leaving them with a happy feeling after seeing their names decorated with the beauty of the Arabic font.
