Assalamu Alaikum WAB,
Referring to the information from the site http://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/in/japan/hiroshima, Insha'Allah on this Wednesday's morning(9th March 2016), there will be a solar eclipse from 10:00 JST to 11:43 JST.
Due to that, we would like to invite you to come to Masjid As-Salam in Higashi-Hiroshima for performing Salat al-kusuf (eclipse prayer) at 10:45 JST.
Regarding to hadith (sited from http://islamqa.info/en/6111) from Imaam al-Bukhaari and Muslim narrated that Ibn Mas’ood al-Ansaari said: “the sun was eclipsed the day when Ibraaheem, the son of the Messenger of Allah SAW (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) died, and the people said, ‘The sun is eclipsed because of the death of Ibraaheem.’ The Messenger of Allaah SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘The sun and the moon are two signs from Allaah, and they do not become eclipsed for the death or the birth of anyone. If you see that, hasten to remember Allaah and to pray.’” According to another hadith in al-Saheehayn: “Call on Allaah and pray until [the eclipse] is over.”
May Allah gives us taufiq and hidayah to step up lightly our foot fulfilling His commands.
