Based on the meeting of the Shura Committee of Hiroshima Islamic Cultural Center, which was held and dedicated to discussing Eid Aladha Payer and Friday Payer of 31 st of July 2020. The committee decision was in favor of holding both
Eid Aladha and Friday Prayers in As‐salam Masjid considering the safety of the community members and the surrounding society as a high priority. HICC is requesting all the Muslims in Hiroshima, who would like to attend the Payers, to follow the conditions below strictly.

1‐ Only adult males and females can join. HICC regret that kids (elementary school and younger) cannot join and this is only for the safety of the community. For parents who cannot keep their children alone at home, HICC is kindly asking only one of the parents to join.
2‐ Eid Aladha prayers will be held in two waves.
3‐ The maximum number of participants allowed is (50 Gentlemen and 25 Ladies) per wave. This is the maximum
the capacity that Masjid As‐salam can handle while being able to implement the social distance measures recommended
by local authorities.
4‐ The first wave is for (Indonesia, Afghanistan, and Malaysia) members.
Takbir starts at 6:45 AM
Salah starts at 7:00 AM
Khutba ends by 7:15 AM.
5‐ The second wave is for (Arabs, Bangladesh, and others) members.
Takbir starts at 7:45 AM
Salah starts at 8:00 AM
Khutba ends by 8:15 AM.
6‐ No Wudu is to take place inside the Masjid
7‐ Participants are requested to wear masks and bring their own praying mat.
8‐ No Social gathering in the parking area are allowed after the Eid prayer
Note on the Friday Prayer:
Friday prayer will be held in one wave (only for the 31 st of July) at 12:15 under these conditions.
A‐ Only adult males can join. (kids are not allowed)
B‐ The maximum capacity is 75 participants.
C‐ No Wudu is to take place inside the Masjid
D‐ Participants are requested to wear masks and bring their own praying mat.
E‐ HICC will resume the previous system of Friday prayer starting from 7th August InshAllah.
HICC is sorry for the inconvenience in applying such strict conditions. We kindly request the community members to accept these conditions (for the protection and safety of all) and follow them. The entrance of anybody who does not follow these recommendations will be denied.
We ask Allah to help us pass this pandemic and gather all again to pray Friday and Eid next time.
